Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 3
In this one time class, students will practice and review adding two-digit and three-digit numbers.  Students will observe the teacher adding two-digit and three-digit numbers.  They will get to practice solving two-digit and three-digit addition problems with the teacher.  Students will practice problems on their own as well.  Students will also briefly review the vocabulary associated with addition.  Students should know numbers and their values up to a thousand as well as place value for tens and hundreds.  Some problem examples could be 45 + 63 = _____ or 782 + 81 = _____.   Let's practice addition problems!

Hello everyone!  Welcome to Outschool!  
My name is Ms. Julie and I'm excited to meet you!  I teach Reading, Math, Writing, ESL (English As a Second Language), and other subjects too.  I've been an educator and teaching for over 20 years in both brick-and-mortar and online.  When I'm not teaching, I can often be found tutoring online or in person.  My experience includes working with preschool to high school students with a lot of my experience with elementary and middle school age groups.  I have an elementary education K-6 grade license as well as a math 5-8 license and a K-12 ESL (English As a Second Language) License.  I have taught ESL (English as a Second Language) for many years also.  My masters in reading has been a great resource as well.
Every student can learn and I believe we all learn in different ways.  I love to have fun while learning!  When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time outside with my furry friend or time with family and friends.
