Adrift- S.T.E.M Challenge Class Duration: 1 week Class Description: Welcome aboard! Adrift- S.T.E.M, is an engaging and educational program designed for elementary school students who love science, technology, engineering, and math. During this weekly meeting, students will explore the ocean as if they were stranded, develop critical thinking skills, and learn some surivial skills. Class Structure: Each session will last 30 minutes, combining interactive discussions and creative activities. The students will engage in a life like simulation as if they are lost in the middle of the ocean. They will learn new science vocabulary words, do daily challenges, and engage life saving technologies with what they have on thier raft. Each week, students will have the opportunity to express their thoughts and interpretations. Teaching Style: The class will be conducted in a participatory and inclusive style, combining videos, engineering, group discussions, and interactive activities to keep young readers engaged and excited about literature. Interaction: Students will have ample opportunities to interact with the instructor and their peers through group discussions, sharing their creative projects, and participating in related activities. Required Experience/Knowledge: No prior experience or specific knowledge is required.
