I worked as an a research engineer at Idaho National Laboratory, developing thermal processes and technologies for cleaner and cheaper bio-energy🌱 . I love teaching. I had taught Jr High math both as a full-time teacher and interventionist (certified secondary level III: Utah State Board of Education). I am so lucky to have found Outschool! It is important to me for my son to be growing up knowing his mom’s root. I connect with him more profoundly with him being able to speak my language. So here we are. My son, who is now 9, was born and raised in Utah. He is fluent in Thai including reading and writing.
I want to spread this joy and opportunity to other kids to be multilingual too. Not just kids who has one or two Thai parents but also ones with non-Thai parents at all. It is great to share our language and culture❤️.
