Class Experience

This class will help get little ones comfortable speaking and having conversations with others. This is a small group formatted course to be sure each student gets maximum learning and individual attention. It will also get them familiar with shapes, colors, and letters. Every class will begin with the hello song which we will sing out loud and do in sign language. We will also always begin class by reviewing the question "How are you?" The teacher will go over various faces for happy, sad, excited, fine, and more emotions that the student can respond with. Each student will be asked "How are you?" and have their own chance to respond appropriately with help from the teacher if needed. We will then sing our ABC's together or another fun song. Each class will then go over a different letter starting with the letter of the day. We will talk about many different words that start with that particular letter and write that letter on our paper in upper and lower case. The teacher will then show the shape of the day and students will have a chance to draw this shape to show the class, and find something around their home to show that is that shape. We will then learn the color of the day. We will talk about things that are that color, and students will have a chance to find things to show that are that color.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi! I am Teacher Alicia and so excited to meet you! I am a certified Early Childhood Education Teacher located in the United States, and have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. I have lots of experience in the classroom with little ones, and have been successfully teaching English online for over three years. I believe every child can learn, and it is the teacher's job to discover how to reach that child's motivation. I love incorporating many facets of learning into my lessons through fun, engaging activities to keep things exciting! Young children are tiny sponges and ready to learn as much language as possible! It's time to take advantage! I have my own four year old little girl, and baby boy, and love to cook, run marathons, and play the piano.

*** If you see a class that interests you but it is not available at a day and time to your liking, please send me a request and I will be happy to do my best to work it out with you! ***

Thanks so much for visiting, and I hope to see you soon. :-)
