At the end of each lesson, students will complete Check for Understanding activities. These are designed as self-assessment tools to help learners gauge their progress and reflect on their learning. While these activities aren’t traditionally graded, feedback will be provided to guide improvement. Throughout the course, there will be over 7 assessments, including 3 benchmark assessments before the final evaluation. Assessments will be available via Google Forms or Easel (Kept Curriculum class), with immediate feedback provided upon submission.Class Experience

30-week math course designed for learners aged 10–15 as they build a strong foundation in 7th grade math. Through 14 engaging units and 5 lessons per week, students will explore key topics such as ratios and proportions, expressions and equations, integers, geometry, probability, and statistics—all aligned to grade-level standards. What will be taught? Students will gain a deep understanding of core 7th-grade math concepts through scaffolded, structured lessons that include: - Ratios, rates, and proportional relationships - Rational numbers and operations - Expressions, equations, and inequalities - Geometry and measurement - Data, statistics, and probability How is the class structured? Each week includes: - 5 asynchronous lessons with guided notes and instructional videos - Practice opportunities with automatic feedback or teacher review - Checkpoints and assessments to monitor progress - Occasional games and interactive reviews to reinforce concepts How will you teach?
