US Grade 6
Beginner - Advanced Level
This semester long, self-paced course will cover the 6th Grade Math Common Core Standards. Topics will include numerical expressions, fractions and decimals, ratios, percents, and algebraic expressions. Due to the fact that this is a self-paced course, students who are already taking 6th grade math can enroll for additional support and practice. Homeschooled students can enroll for a complete 6th grade math curriculum. Videos will be uploaded weekly along with practice assignments, homework, and additional resources. Students will use the Outschool classroom to access all materials and homework. Two lessons will be posted each week. Each lesson will include videos, lessons, and homework. Discussion questions and activities will also be found throughout the course. These math lessons will integrate real world and engaging topics. Students will be provided with several different options for homework every week which include visual, real world and concrete assignments. Students will turn in their homework through the Outschool classroom to receive feedback. A certified teacher will be available for questions and grading.
