In this ongoing learner-directed course, the instructor will address student areas of need by providing instruction in the specific content area named then allowing learners an opportunity to practice the prescribed strategies to master concepts. Students will gain an understanding of 5th grade math concepts such as multi-digit multiplication and division, powers of ten, computing with unlike fractions, two-dimensional figures and their attributes, coordinate grid and calculating volume. Other topics may be covered that overlap between 4th and 6th grades.

Homework will be given at learner's request to supplement the student's practice of new concepts.Assessments Offered
