Description

Class Experience

Students will gain a basic understanding of industry terms as well as gain an introduction to the audition process for screen and get an insight as to how they might approach an audition. Overall, I hope students build some confidence in their abilities and gain an appreciation and love for acting both as an industry and art.
I have been an actor in Japan and the US for around 3 years, having appeared in a few national television programs in Japan. I have also been in several theater productions throughout the last 8 years and taught theater to kids in camps and workshops over the course of the last 2 years.
Students have the option to record their scene again post-class applying what they have learned in class and I will give additional feedback to hopefully help them grow even farther!
I will assign a scene prior to class that each learner should have printed out/stapled before coming to class. While an electronic version is acceptable, a paper copy is much easier to work with.
1 hour 55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
