Class Experience

US Grade 7 - 10
This class is designed for students who want additional tutoring in developing thesis statements, essay writing, novel studies, and more! Sessions can be requested by students at any time; please just contact me so that we can work on creating a private session just for your student to get the one on one help they want and need!

Students will begin this class learning about thesis statements: what they are, their purpose, and how they function and their location within a paper. Students will then walk through a step-by-step process to developing their own thesis. The teacher will work with each student step by step in helping them write a clear and concise statement. Students will progress through the process after approval from the teacher on each step who will work one-on-one with them. This helps students understand the purpose of the steps and to master them.

Students will have the opportunity to choose their topics so that it is catered directly to their own interests and needs.

This class is perfect for students who have a paper they are working on and need support developing their statements. It is also a good class for students who need practice in developing their own.
