Class experience
In this course, students will design their own fantasy hero to play in our custom RPG class, 'Trolls, Text, and Treasures!' Characters will be created in class using the free character creator software, 'Hero Forge'. After their custom character is created, we will work together to develop their skill sheet and a basic backstory for their character prior to our campaign. Once their character is created, please consider signing them up for one of our campaigns in order to bring their hero to...

In this course, students will: -Create their own fantasy character -Use their imagination and creativity to design their hero -Practice their speaking and storytelling skills to develop a character backstory
I have been teaching reading, vocabulary, and speaking to English language learners and young native speakers for the last several years. I excel at making this material both fun and challenging for everyone and I always adjust materials and learning levels as needed for students in class so that they never feel overwhelmed. Learning should be fun, and that's my expertise!
Homework Offered
For homework, students can look over our available 'Trolls, Text, and Treasures' campaigns and pick their favorite one. Once chosen, they can book the next class to take their hero on an epic quest!0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

Individualized student feedback will be provided to the parent at the end of each class to let you know how they performed and to tell you a bit about their personalized character.Grades Offered
No third-party software tools are necessary for students in this course. All materials are screenshared during the lesson through Google slides, so your student only needs to attend class and be ready to learn!
