Class experience
This is a fun and supportive one-on-one class from a working professional singer who has taught budding artists for the past 15 years. Your student will learn vocal technique, breathing, scales, ear training and lyric interpretation. I will listen for vocal range and style and assist your learner in building up their vocal ability. This class is taught in English.
The goal is for my students to grow in confidence and find the voice that is uniquely theirs. We build on that to make the voice strong, healthy, and agile. A well built foundation is essential for future success. I also strive to show the artistry that is involved in performing. I assist in helping the singer understand what they are communicating and how to bring the audience into their story. We do all of this while having fun! I have found in my years of teaching that low pressure does not equal low results-it's the opposite! When the learner is relaxed they are able to access the best technique for singing and have a great time doing it(:

Homework Offered
Learner will need to have a song they wish to sing for the lesson and send the song title before class. Teacher can also pick a song for the learner if they wish.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

No experience necessary. Beginning to advanced and everything in between(:!
It is perfectly acceptable for the student to sing acapella, but If they would like to sing along with an artist while they sing, or use a karaoke track, they can have that ready. I can also play along with them on piano if I have the name of the song before class! If they don't have a favorite song they would like to learn to sing, that's ok too. They can pick from suggested songs depending on the style they prefer.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
