In this course, students will learn some of the differences in pronunciation from an American accent to whatever accent we are working on for the day. They will practice the accent through voice exercises with the teacher and other students. After the voice exercises, students will be able to show off what they learned through a monologue performance. Students will have the opportunity to use any or all of the accents in a scene for the final class. Note: Live participation is a must so that I can hear and help each student as they play with the accent. Week 1 - Vocal Warm Up. Introduction to the Southern American accent and exercise each trait.
