In each session, we will focus on whatever the student is needing extra help with at the time. Prior to class, we will discuss this, and the student is welcome to bring their own materials for help working through or I can provide materials. Please let me know at least 1 day prior to class which you prefer and together we will master any areas of reading, writing, or math that the student is needing extra help with and leave feeling competent, empowered, and having a firm grasp of the material. 

Some examples of what we can focus on include, but are not limited to, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, basic algebra, writing, vocabulary, spelling, learning different letter sounds and combinations of letter sounds, different word types, how to structure sentences, reading out loud, and reading comprehension.

My hope is that the student will leave with an understanding of whatever material they are struggling with, feeling understood themselves as well.
