In this class I will be teaching a beginner level yoga class for kids. We will begin with a short breathing exercise, inviting students to breathe in and out and feel their bodies move as they breathe. Then we will get our bodies moving with some warm up, moving into basic poses and stretches. The class will end with a quick visual relaxation exercise, guiding students to tense up and then relax different parts of their bodies. I think this practice can be helpful for children to learn and grow up with.

Parental Guidance
This is a class involving physical activity and therefore there is a potential for injury. The activity will be mild and not very strenuous, but parental supervision is advised.
Supply List
A yoga mat and water bottle will be needed for this class. A clear space to move in will also be necessary.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
