One to One Math Tutoring

Hello,
I am a retired elementary school teacher from New York State.  I worked in the public school system for over thirty years and have taught grades kindergarten through fourth grade.  I worked many years on our district English Language Arts committee working on curriculum as well as our S.T.E.M. committee.  STEM stands for science, technology, engineering and mathematics.  

My philosophy is that children should be actively engaged in learning.  In my classroom, I believed that children should have choices regarding their learning whenever possible.  A multi-sensory approach worked well for my students. Learning should be fun!

I am an avid tennis player and enjoy taking fitness classes at the gym.  My husband and I love fishing, boating and enjoy spending time together out on our boat.
