In this on-going class, we will work on writing a mini-short story and drawing a picture to illustrate it.
Class experience
In this class, we will work on writing a mini-short story together. Short stories to be written will include fiction, nonfiction, detective, adventure, or any other kind of writing that the student is interested in. At the beginning of our class, we will first go over the specific kind of writing that we will work on via YouTube or teacher instruction with a PowerPoint presentation. We will also talk about how to introduce the story to get the readers attention, how to include details to help...
It would be helpful if the student had a thesaurus to help find synonyms for words the student frequently uses in the writing piece.
