The NoSleep subreddit, which celebrated its ten-year anniversary this last March, is well known for being a quality source of short horror fiction, even outside of Reddit. Following a very specific set of guidelines, it is strictly moderated, and there is a list of themes that are not allowed to be story focuses. Parent notes: While NoSleep in a horror subreddit, and as such contains horror themes, it is not a place for graphic horror, splatter horror, torture horror, or any such subjects. Therefore, while horror, the stories are less extreme than what Stephen King, Clive Barker or Dean Koontz might write.
