I am Mrs. K, a dedicated school-based occupational therapist specializing in teaching handwriting to elementary students. My class aims to prevent the "summer slide back," ensuring that students maintain their handwriting skills and return to school in the Fall fully prepared. I believe in making handwriting lessons enjoyable and interactive.

This ongoing  30-minute class will run for  8 weeks during the summer, from June 4,  2024, to July  30,  2024. Each session will be themed around special interests and relevant topics, engaging students throughout. Weekly themes will guide our handwriting practice, focusing on different letter types and formations, spacing, and self-editing for clarity. Students will also work on words and sentences incorporating the letters covered. Downloadable worksheets and adaptive paper will be provided for in-class and at-home practice, with printing recommended but not mandatory for participation.
