Hello and welcome to Wild Animal Science Weekly! This a weekly ongoing class format and students are welcome to join, pause or cancel their subscription at any time! Each week in this class, kids can learn interesting facts about a wild animal and their specific habitat and their conservation classification. Updated List of Animals Starting June 2024 Week of June 9 African and Asiatic Lions Week of June 16 Leopards Week of June 23 Cheetahs Week of June 30 Giraffes Week of July 7...
- 1. Students can learn facts about the characteristics and adaptations of animals and how they help them survive in the wild over time.
- 2. Students will learn how biologists use data from research and observations in the field to compare and classify animals.
- 3. Students will learn why conservation science is so important to preserving the balance of our planet's ecosystems.
- 4. Every week, students will learn new vocabulary related to the study of a new animal.

Learners will also be encouraged to post questions or responses in the classroom comment section so I can guide discussions that might carry over after class each week. Activities are optional. No one is required to do them in order to participate in this class.Assessment

This quiz is just a simple, fun way for learners to test their knowledge. NO account or login in is required. Both YouTube and Kahoot are Outschool approved third-party tools.
*Student Supplies for class: 1. A Notebook for writing, taking notes, drawing, or working on activities. 2. Pencils, Markers or Crayons for completing activities such as copying, writing, labeling, tracing, coloring or drawing. 3. Weekly educational activities will be posted for download each week in the classroom after class. These activities can be printed OR easily opened on a computer or tablet to view while working in your notebook.
1. Two approved third-party tools YouTube and Kahoot are used weekly to support and enhance the lesson and the live class. 2. NO scary or violent content allowed here, just scientific facts presented in a positive way to encourage learning and scientific discovery.experience. No account required.
