課堂經歷
Do you love the music of the 1960's? Then come and join us as we explore this legendary music festival. Woodstock was held August 15-18 1969 in New York and was advertised at "3 Days of Peace and Music" and was supposed to be a small festival. Instead, over 400,000 people attended. We will discuss what American culture and counter culture was like during this time and what led to this event. We will explore the many different artists that performed and what happened to their careers afterwards. We will discuss the different legends about Woodstock - Was it really free? Did it rain the entire time? Did hundreds of people die? Was a baby really born there? Come and join us for 45 minutes of peace and music.

In this class, we will be talking about the counter culture of the 1960's. This will include some discussions of violence (protests against the Vietnam War), drug use, and discrimination. All discussions will be at an age appropriate level.
There may be some Youtube videos that are seen during this class. I will share my screen and learners will not need to access them on their own.
