Learners will understand the debate between fruit and vegetable. Learners will be able to classify a whole food into a fruit or vegetable; including ones that are still being debated. Learners will think critically about what makes something a fruit and what makes something a vegetable. Learners will also understand some subcategories of fruits and vegetables; such as berries, or leafy greens.
