Calling all animal lovers! 🐶🦊🐼🐱🦋 Come explore the animal kingdom and learn to draw and paint a different animal with watercolour each week! Join in any time! No experience necessary! Ms. Emily will guide students step-by-step throughout each class and will show a close up view of her hands while she demonstrates the steps. Each class we will sketch out a different animal with pencil, add details or highlights with crayons, and then paint it with watercolour! There will also be fun animal facts and silly jokes along the way. It will be a warm and friendly place for kids to connect with other animal lovers and learn to paint amazing animals! Students will be encouraged to ask questions, show their artwork, and share their own animal knowledge with the class. It will be fun, interactive, and educational. Come join us! 🌈 ✨🎨 Below are the topics for the first eight weeks: ⇢ Week of (July 2): Fox/Theme 1 ⇢ Week of (July 9): Turtle/Theme 2 ⇢ Week of (July 16): Tiger/Theme 3 ⇢ Week of (July 23): Whale/Theme 4 **NO CLASS Thursday JULY 27** ⇢ Week of (July 30): Llama/Theme 5 ⇢ Week of (August 6): Hedgehog/Theme 6 ⇢ Week of (August 13): Flamingo/Theme 7 ⇢ Week of (August 20): Sloth/Theme 8

🎨 I am an artist and educator with more than 10 years of teaching experience and I LOVE teaching art!
👩🎓 I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts and have taught a wide range of art classes over the years, including teaching art to individuals on the autism spectrum.
🦋 My specialities include drawing animals and nature, as well as painting with watercolour.
🌈✨ I always strive to teach fun and engaging classes while creating an inclusive environment that puts learners at ease. I like to sprinkle educational facts into each art class and allow lots of room for creativity. I don’t believe art should be stressful and strongly believe that having good art experiences can lead to greater self confidence and improved mental health.
