Realistic Mare & Foal Portrait In these four lessons you will learn how to draw a portrait of a gorgeous American Quarter Horse, a side view of a standing Thoroughbred, a running horse, as well as a beautiful portrait of a mare & foal. You will learn techniques such as proportion, sketching, shading, highlighting, and smudging. Plus learn fun facts about horses along the way! No experience necessary! Ms. Emily will teach you step-by-step instructions in each lesson and will show a close up view of her hands while she demonstrates each step. You will learn about anatomy and proportion by creating simple shapes first and then building the drawing from there :) You will be encouraged to post questions and share artwork in the classroom for an interactive experience.
