This course is designed for students whose next math course is Algebra 2.  Students in this course should have successfully completed an Algebra 1 class.   This course will review critical Algebra 1 skills and extend them to give a preview of Algebra 2 content.

**NOTE:  This class may meet once a week for four weeks OR "camp-style" for four straight days for one week.

Topics Covered:
Session 1:  Multi-Step Equations & Linear Equations
Session 2: Systems of Equations
Session 3:  Factoring Review & Quadratic Formula
Session 4:  Introduction to Imaginary Numbers, Introduction to Logarithms



The content will be presented via interactive lecture.  The students will be given opportunities to solve problems in class using the "I do, you do, we do" approach.  Optional homework is provided for students who would like more practice with these skills outside of class time.
