This 45-minute, 4-week class meets once a week. Lessons will be a mix of direct instruction, group discussion, and time for reflection. My teaching style is engaging and student-centered. I'll use a combination of lecture, discussion prompts, and multimedia to keep students interested and invested in the novel. Interaction and Participation:Students will have plenty of opportunities to interact with both me and their peers. We'll have live discussions where everyone can share thoughts and respond to each other. I'll also be available during class and via messages for any questions or need for clarification. What to Expect Each Week:Each lesson will build on the previous one, as we progress through the novel. I'll start with a brief review, then introduce new concepts or discussion questions. Students will have time to reflect and participate in activities. I'll wrap up the lesson with homework instructions and be available for questions. Assessment and Feedback:Participation and engagement are key. I'll assess student understanding through their contributions to discussions and the completion of homework assignments. I'll provide constructive feedback to guide their analysis and reflection skills Required Materials:Students will need a copy of "Tuck Everlasting" by Natalie Babbitt. No other materials or purchases are required. Please have your child read the assigned chapters before class, so they can fully participate in discussions. Learning Environment:I strive to create a respectful and inclusive learning environment. I expect all students to treat each other with kindness and respect differing opinions. Any inappropriate behavior or disruption will be addressed. If your child is struggling, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm happy to provide extra help or adjust assignments as needed.

Hello,
My name is Sandy. I teach a variety of classes from English, Math, Science, History, to some project based learning and STEAM based classes through reading, cooking classes, and intro to film. Movie based classes are also a lot of fun.
I have been an elementary teacher, middle and high school teacher, in the public and private sector for over a decade. I have taught Pre-k-12th grade.
I believe all children can learn it is about building connections and relationships with the students and when students are able to make connections to what they are learning that is when the learning takes place.
I have three children and enjoy spending time with them, in addition to spending time with my children, I love painting, movies, reading, and sports.
