Students will learn about the different types of kingdoms and key characteristics that make them unique to their kingdom. Students will learn about information regarding each kingdom and special structures or adaptations they have to make them unique. 

I am a 5th grade teacher, and have taught middle school science for 8 years from 6-8th grade. I am licensed as a science teacher from 6-12 grade, including Biology, with a Masters in Science Education. I like making learning relate to real world experiences so students can connect to material easier than standard memorization. I review in a flow pattern that starts with basic information and expands into complex information to assist students with retention.

Students will be provided weekly activities for enrichment. While not mandatory for completion, they will complement each weeks' instructional video and help students be successful in the weekly quiz and break out room.

Students will complete a break out room each week, requiring information from the week's instructional video. Completion of the break out room will demonstrate mastery of each week's content. In addition, students will have weekly access to Quizizz quiz to demonstrate mastery. Scores will be sent weekly to students and parents for academic records.
