Welcome to Cell Biology.
Cell and Molecular biology are fundamental part of biological sciences. It is essential for research in biomedical fields. Understanding how cells work in healthy and diseased states can help develop new vaccines, more effective medicines, and plants with improved qualities. It can also help us better understand how all living things live, and may eventually allow us to produce a "health forecast" by analyzing genetic and cell information.
Why do we study cell biology?
By understanding how cells work in healthy and diseased states, cell biologists working in animal, plant, and medical science will be able to develop new vaccines, more effective medicines, and plants with improved qualities and through increased knowledge a better understanding of how all living things live.
