I have six years experience working as a paralegal at various law firms and have real-world experience working with lawyers and clients. I am also a law school student that excelled in the topic of Torts, earning a 4.3 in Torts I and a 4.0 in Torts II. I also received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for my performance in my Torts I class.
Students will hear about how the manufacturing defects of the Ford Pinto led to many deaths by car fire/explosion. Students will not be shown any pictures and will not see anything gruesome. However, if the thought or imagining of these events would traumatize your students, I would advise your student to not take this class.
