Super-Kid Ready, Set, Go Camp: Social Entrepreneurship for Ages 10-12 - provides hands-on training and instruction on how to create a business for good from scratch. Topics covered include using superhero powers to create a business that not only makes a profit but also benefits society. Upon completing the camp, the student will understand the basics of social entrepreneurship and how to build a business for good to become a successful Super-Kid (aka. Social Entrepreneur). Camp...
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to: 1. Define the difference between social entrepreneurship vs. entrepreneurship 2. Understand what a business for good is and then brainstorm ideas to create one 3. Understand how important it is to pick the perfect name, logo, and tagline 4. Understand the 4Ps and how to design communication tools to launch 5. Understanding the Pitch
The teacher is a social entrepreneur and superhero at heart. Check out her bio to learn more. Also, please note that students will briefly discuss the United Nations 17 SDGs (https://www.un.org/sustainabledevelopment/sustainable-development-goals/). The teacher is familiar with this age group and will always make sure that the issues and sharing are age-appropriate.
