In this fun class, students will learn about play scripts and get a chance to act out/read aloud from the script. Play scripts offer an effective and entertaining way of learning, as students begin to think about expression and conveying feelings of their characters. They learn to deduce information about a character, such as emotion and mindset, and build on what they've already read in the story. We will be reading through a play script during each class. We will also discuss different elements of performing. During some classes, we will also work on improvisation and even writing our own play script. Examples of play scripts we will be performing: Jack and the Beanstalk Little Red Riding Hood The Three Little Pigs The Gingerbread Man Alice in Wonderland

Hello! My name is Tracy. From ESL to social clubs and creative writing, I offer many different classes that are fun and allow for learning without pressure and stress! Academic success has always been important to me. I was the valedictorian of my high school graduating class and I graduated from Grand Canyon University, cum laude. I have 16 years of teaching experience. I taught a private school before starting a family of my own. I have taught every subject, from ESL to math and physics! I’ve taught ages from 3 to 18 years old.
Learning is important, but it's difficult to learn when you are stressed, struggling, or overwhelmed. I strive to make my classes fun so learning is easy.
As a mother of five, I understand that every child is different and they each have a learning style that works best for them. Because I have homeschooled all five of my children since the beginning of their schooling, I have seen the different ways children learn and know the importance of making learning enjoyable . I adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of the student.
