Understanding the script, getting out of your own head, focusing on listening and reacting to your fellow actor, motivation, sensory recall, exploring emotions... There are many techniques that can help you grow; but none so important as simply letting go and allowing the role to take over. That takes focus, concentration and guidance. A private coaching session with me will help you get past that "hurdle of self consciousness" that is stopping you from becoming magnificent. You have something special in you, and with some coaching, we can bring it out together!

I have been a professional television and film actor, screewnwriter and independent director in the U.S.A. and Canada for more than 35 years. I was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a film in the 90's and again for Canada's Hottest Star in 2002 (which I won!), at the Canadian Geminis (what used to be Canada's answer to the Oscars / Emmies). I attended theatre school for 8 years as a child and then continued to train throughout my career. I have too many credits to list but you can look me up on the IMDB if you are curious. Most people recognize me from Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda (the character "Harper") or the Bride of Chucky lol.
I have written and directed for television and played so many different roles I cannot even fully recount. Decades of professional experience in these related disciplines combined with years of training have lead me to develop my own system of "understanding and doing" while striving to make the strongest choices I can find within a script. I truly believe this is the path to a magnificent performance. Whether you just want to be as natural a lead as possible or create strange but believable characters, it all comes down to one thing: confidence. And how can you strengthen your confidence? With a coach!! :)
