Legend has it that long ago, in the lands of Arabia, there lived a clever and beautiful woman named Sheherazade who, for a thousand and one nights, told such good stories they saved her life. These have come to be known as The Arabian Nights... In this 5 day summer camp, learners will explore enchanting tales from One Thousand and One Arabian Nights. I will be reading from the Usborne Illustrated Arabian Nights which has beautiful prose and magical illustrations. The tales we will be reading...
Learners will improve their understanding of a classic piece of literature as well as practice their comprehension skills, critical thinking skills and they will have fun drawing!
Please bring paper and colour pencils/pens to class.
