課堂經歷
Students will listen to the story, Froggy Bakes a Cake. Students will be engaged as we read about how Froggy tries to make a birthday cake for his mom. Does it work or not? We will make predictions about what will happen with Froggy. I will incorporate phonics, story elements like characters and setting, and comprehension. Students will have to opportunity to share their personal experiences with baking if they choose. We will even do a fun activity after the story. Students will get to draw and design their own birthday cake that they want to make for their mom.

Hello families! My name is Lori Lane, and I am excited to be an Outschool Teacher! I am a certified elementary school teacher. I have been teaching for 27 years, teaching preschool and first grade. In the past two years, I have also taught students online from different countries, ranging from 3-14.
Teaching is truly my passion. I love seeing my students' faces when they learn new things, making learning fun. I take a hands-on approach to teaching phonics and math, but I love reading to my students most of all. I get animated and change my voice when I'm reading. I have a Bachelors and Masters in education as well as my ESL endorsement.
With 2 teenaged daughters, we are a Disney-loving family and try to visit Disneyland once a year!評論
