Spark Preschool: Ignite the Love of Learning! (Circle Time, Reading, and Math!)

Spark Preschool is designed to ignite a lifelong love of learning in curious young minds. Through a thoughtfully designed program that blends engaging circle time activities, phonetic awareness, and playful math explorations, I foster a love for discovery and exploration in a safe and nurturing virtual environment.

What to expect in each 30-minute session:

    Circle Time Connection: Each session kicks off with a lively circle time filled with interactive songs, rhymes, greetings, and social-emotional learning activities. This interactive time helps develop communication skills, build friendships, and create a sense of belonging. We might sing a hello song, play a quick "I Spy" game to practice observation skills, or read a short social story to introduce a theme.

Storybook Adventures: I will bring beloved children's books to life with expressive storytelling and engaging activities. Children will develop their listening comprehension, vocabulary skills, and imagination as they embark on exciting literary journeys. After reading, I might have students create their own illustrations or answer comprehension questions to solidify the story's message. 
    
(MONDAYS) Phonics Fun : I introduce young learners to the building blocks of language - phonics! Through engaging activities and clear pronunciation, children will begin to recognize letter sounds and understand how they blend together to form words. We might practice identifying beginning sounds of words with pictures ("M for Monkey!"), sing an alphabet song with emphasis on sounds, or play a simple matching game with letters and pictures.
    
(WEDNESDAYS) Math Magic: Through playful songs, games, and hands-on activities (encouraged but not required - students can use household objects!), the math curriculum introduces young learners to basic math concepts like counting, sorting, shapes, and patterns. Children will develop a love for numbers and discover the joy of problem-solving. We might sing a counting song, or challenge students to identify shapes in their surroundings.
