This class is for students who need or prefer private tutoring sessions in 7th and 8th grade Science, General Science, Health, Life Science, Physical Science (NOT PHYSICS), Biology, and Adv Biology. Each session is one-to-one, so your child will receive my full attention. Students are asked to submit their inquiries 2 to 3 days before their class session through the classroom. This will allow the instructor to have the materials or information needed and use the student's valuable time for discussion. ***I do not tutor Chemistry or Physics. I will help with homework inquiries, reviewing tests, presentations, dissection inquiries, science fair projects, or lab reports. As a forty-year Secondary Science instructor, I am familiar with the US required standards. DISCLAIMER: Students need to send specifics on what they need tutored, 48 hours before the session. If the student does not inform the instructor the class will be cancelled.

This depends on what the student wants to be tutored on. Students must submit their inquiries prior to each tutoring session in order for the teacher to assess what supplies they may need to bring to class. I may have a concept that can be easily explained with a hands-on activity that would require supplies.

I am a Secondary Certified Teacher with a lifetime certification in Education. My major is Biology and my minor is Art. I've been teaching Health, General Science, Physical Science, Chemistry, Biology, Advanced Biology for forty years to middle and high school students worldwide. I've taught in public, private, Montessori, and homeschool groups. I am CPR certified.
I was a moderator of the annual Health Fair for several schools. With this expertise, I feel I am more than qualified to tutor your child. I enjoy teaching.
I also took supplemental courses; such as Vital Signs: Understanding What the Body Is Telling Us (from the University of Pennsylvania in 2018) and Drugs, drug use, drug policy and health (from the University of Geneva in 2020) on Coursera.org.
