This class will cover the first 60 lessons of Saxon Algebra 1 3rd edition textbook. I work through lessons 4 and 3 teaching as I go. The student is to work the two lessons with me and then complete lessons 2 and 1 on their own. The following week I work through Lessons 8 and 7, teaching as I go and the student works the problems with me and then completes lessons 6 and 5 on their own as review. This continues up to lesson 60. This allows the student to learn all concepts with me and work through 2 lessons with me.

The learning goal here is to complete the first 1/2 credit of high school Algebra 1 and prepare the student for the second 1/2 credit of Algebra 1.There is no memorization required and all students will fill out a reference card with formulas and tips to help solve problems on lessons and tests they complete on their own.教學大綱
