This class will cover the last 60 lessons of Saxon Math 87 2nd edition textbook or the second 1/2 credit of a PreAlgebra course. I work through lessons 64 and 63 teaching as I go. The student is to work the two lessons with me and then complete lessons 62 and 61 on their own. The following week I work through Lessons 68 and 67, teaching as I go and the student works the problems with me and then completes lessons 66 and 65 on their own as review. This continues up to lesson 120. This allows the student to learn all concepts with me and work through 2 lessons with me. Then to review the student will complete 2 lessons on their own.
學習目標
The learning goal here is to finish the second 1/2 of Math 87 and to prepare the student for Saxon Algebra 1 A.There is no memorization required and all students will fill out a reference card with formulas and tips to help solve problems on lessons and tests they complete on their own. A calculator is allowed in this class.
