This class will cover the first 70 lessons of Saxon Math 65 2nd edition textbook. I work through lessons 5, 4, and 3 teaching as I go. The student is to work the three lessons with me and then complete lessons 2 and 1 on their own. The following week I work through Lessons 10, 9, and 8, teaching as I go and the student works the problems with me and then completes lessons 7 and 6 on their own as review. This continues up to lesson 70. This allows the student to learn all concepts with me and work through 3 lessons with me. Then to review the student will complete 2 lessons on their own.
學習目標
The learning goal here is to complete the first 1/2 of Math 65 and prepare the student for the second 1/2 of Math 65.There is no memorization required and all students will fill out a reference card with formulas and tips to help solve problems on lessons and tests they complete on their own. Students are also encouraged to use a multiplication chart.
