In this ongoing course, students will come together for weekly building challenges. Each week will stretch students' creativity and problem solving skills as they create a narrative for their brick creation. Weekly challenges provide students with the parameters necessary to complete their creations. Some weeks, the challenge will be based on a theme, while other weeks students may need to solve a problem and complete a task. Each week will be different! Students will use a variety of bricks...
Students will use problem solving skills and critical thinking to solve a building challenge. Students will use public speaking skills to present their building concept to the class.
I have a current teaching license in elementary education and an endorsement in mathematics, reading, and social studies. I have been tutoring and teaching students for twenty years. My combined experience and teacher training provides me with the techniques and strategies to help your student feel successful in their journey to become a critical thinker.
