Learners will:
- improve their understanding of how various LGBTQ+ people have changed the world
- develop their questioning skills as applied to reading comprehension and social studies
- spend time chilling out with other youth in a positive space!

I have been staff advisor/co-advisor to various Gay Straight Alliances, Queer-Straight Alliances, and Equity/Social Justice Clubs at almost all the bricks-and-mortar schools I have worked at during my teaching career. I am familiar with creating and maintaining positive and safe spaces for youth who may feel marginalized. I have my Masters in Social Justice Education, as well as 15 years experience teaching English, Social Science, and Spec Ed at the secondary level at a large public school board.
