Students will be introduced to probability through exploration. Each week we will use different manipulatives from everyday life to learn about probability. Students will learn to express probability using fractions, percentages, ratios, and graphs. Each week we will use a different type of graph to represent what we have learned. They will learn to collect data and represent data in different ways. The will understand the importance of the work of an individual as well as the work of a group.

At the end of the class, students will be able to complete a Kahoot based on what they have learned in class. This will be a "challenge" Kahoot which will be completed individually outside of class. The Kahoot will provide an informal assessment of learning.提供的成績
Every week students need paper, crayons or colored pencils, and a ruler. In addition, each week students will need the following: Day 1: 5 coins Day 2: A pair of dice Day 3: A package of Skittles (2.17 ounces) Day 4: A deck of playing cards
