To start off these sessions, I will evaluate which Algebra skills need practice and instruction so that you confidently enter Algebra 2. After over 30 years of teaching, I have witnessed that most concepts are learned over time, with review. Few students are going to retain algebraic skills after completing one single unit. This course gives that extra boast that most students need to help concepts and skills go into their long term memory and become a part of their problem-solving skill...
Students will obtain a strong foundation in the skills needed for success in Algebra 2.

Student will be able to use a Kahoot Code which I provide to practice what they are learning. This does not require an account. They may use their first name only or a nickname which they tell me. The student will see a math question and choose a multiple choice answer. I will see their results. This provides feedback for the student and for me.
