課堂經歷
Singers will have the opportunity to study with a professional voice teacher to enhance their vocal technique, musicianship and performing skills. Each week, both student and teacher will determine appropriate goals for each lesson so that the singer knows exactly what to focus on during their lesson time. Students may choose to work on technique alone or work towards songs in preparation for an audition or performance. WHAT IS A TYPICAL LESSON LIKE? Students may begin with vocal technique to develop their skills. Musicianship skills may be addressed depending on the goals of the students Students may wish to work on 1-2 songs or portions of a song in areas such as technique, performance, acting, musicianship, learning notes of a song, vowel placement, resonance, breathing technique and overall presentation. EXPERIENCE No experience is required. SCHEDULING This class is offered in an ongoing format that reserves a weekly time just for you.

-Vocal Technique to keep you from developing bad habits such as straining
-Song selection to make sure you are singing the the perfect song for your age and range
-Foreign Language diction (did you know that a very popular American musical, South Pacific, features french sung by the young Ngana and Jerome?)
-Breathing Technique to make sure you an sing through lines without running out of breath!
-Performance and Acting work to help you tell your story to the audience
-Audition Preparation to make sure you are as ready as can be!
-Sight Reading to help you learn music quickly and identify everything in the music
-Ear Training to help you recognize intervals and pitches
