This 12 week Voice Acting class is designed for students ages 12-18. Whether a complete beginner just starting out, or looking to refine and hone their skills. In this supportive, uplifting environment, students will explore the art of voice acting through fun exercises that build vocal range, flexibility, and the ability to bring characters to life with unique, dynamic voices. With a focus on confidence-building and performance, students will learn how to take direction and express themselves creatively, preparing them for future voice acting opportunities. This course will give aspiring voice actors the tools and techniques they need to find their voice and bring characters to life in a professional, fun, and supportive environment.
In this class, students will also dive into script interpretation, learning how to convey emotion and meaning through tone, rhythm, and pauses. They will learn proper breath control, enunciation, and pronunciation techniques to ensure clarity. Students will also work on character development, creating distinct voices based on personality, age, and emotion. Additionally, the class covers voice care, ensuring students protect their voices while performing.
