In this course students will learn songs in a variety of different styles as well as vocal and physical techniques in order to improve their voice according to their personal goals. These goals might include preparing for an audition, choral and harmonic training or just general improvement of their voice. There is no required experience for this class. Students will have the opportunity to perform their songs in front of other private students through enrolling in my other course, “Voice...
The Learning goals for this class include improvement in breath support, tone, pitch, style, acting and other aspects of a professional singer based upon the students personal goals. For example, lets say a student might want lessons to prepare for a choral audition. In this case, we would choose songs relating to this topic and work on choral techniques that a director will be looking for when auditioning a potential member.

Students are expected to learn songs/exercises and practice them weekly to prepare for the next lesson. The voice is like any instrument, you can memorize all the techniques in the world but they will not improve unless you are physically practicing them.2 - 4 每週課外時間
