Students are required to practice the exercises and music that they are given each week. Repetition is important in Music. For the student to retain and remember what they are learning they must incorporate at least two days a week of practice time.評估

In this private on-going class students will learn how to play the Ukulele. There is no experience required for this course. This class is one student max to allow for personal one-on-one training. Below are some topics we will be discussing in class. 1. History of the Ukulele 2. Understanding the Uke (Fret-Body-Posture-etc.) 3. How To Tune Your Uke 4. Playing Notes and Sight Reading Ukulele Music 5. How to Play Chords 6. Reading and Playing Uke Tabs 7. Music Theory and the Uke 8. Rhythm 9. Strumming Patterns 10.Using Techniques to Learn a Song
學習目標
Students will learn how to successfully tune and play their Ukulele through tabs, sight reading, chords etc.

Hi there! My name is Shelbbie. I am a Twin mom, Musician and Teacher.
My professional background includes two Bachelor Degrees and over 10 years of performance and teaching experience. My main degree is a music degree with an emphasis in voice and vocal studies. I am an instructor at Tupelo Music Acadamy in addition to owning a studio of my own.
I offer a variety of classes on Outschool including Voice, Ukulele, Guitar, Piano, Musical Theatre, Acting, Music Theory, Art and more.
I have a laid back personality and I am often a bit goofy in my classes. I love to connect with each student and believe laughter is the best medicine especially in a learning environment! I adjust my lessons around each student depending on their individual needs. Feel free to leave feed back for a past class!
