課堂經歷
Students will have a one hour private drum lesson. We will focus on drumming basics -- learning to read notes, read rhythms, play beats, work with metronomes, and other tools essential to play any style of music. This is a great way to introduce a young student to the joy of playing. Basic music theory will also be taught. If a certain topic or genre is desired I will work on teaching what the student wants to learn, with examples and pdf sheets if necessary. This class is designed to be enjoyable and fun. Note: Original Sound setting (or Original Sound for Musicians) MUST be enabled on Zoom for all classes!

Hi Outschoolers! I'm a multi-instrumentalist based in Toronto, Canada, specializing in songwriting, drums, percussion, piano, vocals, and music theory. I have been a professional musician for over forty years. I'm a recording artist, producer, film composer, songwriter, and have performed all over the world. I studied music at York University (Toronto, Canada) and Eastman School of Music (Rochester, New York). I currently teach music at middle school in the Toronto District School Board. My music teaching philosophy is simple: I like to find out what skills the student has and what they are missing, and work on filling in those gaps. Also I always ask the student what THEY would like to work on and learn. Most importantly, we will have FUN in the lessons!評論
