How to Enable Original Sound on iPad for Music Lessons

For the best audio quality in Zoom music lessons, you’ll want to enable Original Sound on your iPad. Here’s how to do it:

Step 1: Open Zoom Settings

1️⃣ Open the Zoom app on your iPad.
2️⃣ Tap the Settings icon (⚙️) in the bottom-right corner.

Step 2: Enable Original Sound

3️⃣ Select Meetings from the Settings menu.
4️⃣ Scroll down and toggle on “Use Original Sound”.

Step 3: Turn On Original Sound in a Meeting

5️⃣ Join a Zoom meeting.
6️⃣ Tap More (•••) in the top-right corner.
7️⃣ Select Enable Original Sound.

	•	Prevents Zoom from automatically muting or distorting sounds.

For the best audio quality during Zoom music lessons, follow these steps to enable Original Sound on your laptop.

Step 1: Open Zoom Settings

1️⃣ Open the Zoom app on your laptop.
2️⃣ Click on your profile picture (top right corner) and select Settings.

Step 2: Enable Original Sound

3️⃣ In the Settings menu, click on Audio (left sidebar).
4️⃣ Scroll down to the Music and Professional Audio section.
5️⃣ Check the box for “Show in-meeting option to enable Original Sound”.
6️⃣ (Optional) Check “High-fidelity music mode” for even better sound.
7️⃣ Click OK to save changes.

Step 3: Turn On Original Sound in a Meeting

8️⃣ Start or join a Zoom meeting.
9️⃣ Click on “Original Sound: Off” in the top-left corner of the Zoom window.
🔟 It should change to “Original Sound: On” – Now you’re all set!
