Welcome to my class everyone! ***SUMMER PROMOTION*** Get $5 off any other class when you sign up for this class! In this ongoing summer boot camp book club, learners will read lots of interesting fact files about different aspects of space. The fact file books will be: 1. All about the sun 2. Mission to the moon 3. Mars the red planet 4. Who is Neil Armstrong 5. Apollo 11 space missions and more Each with lots of interesting facts! We will read the text first and then answer the comprehension questions at the end to check understanding and practice inferring information to answer questions! Please note I have 4 different levels of text and questions for each topic, so your learners' ability will decide which level we chose to read. (Advantage of it being a 1:1 class) I am a qualified teacher with a child psychology degree who believes when children are happy and confident they thrive with their learning. I keep my lessons fun and engaging so learners leave each class with a smile on their faces! If you would like a different time or day that isn't available, drop me a message and ill try make you one :) I have an animal fact file comprehension book club too if animals interest you! Can't wait to meet some of you in my class!

Hello everyone! I am Laura from England in the United Kingdom.
I am an experienced Teacher and have been teaching for 10 years now, 7 in UK schools and 3 online. I have worked with children aged 4 -11 in various year groups. I have been on multiple phonics and reading training courses and have taught children how to read for years. I am a very calm but confident teacher and love to see children progress through their learning.
I am also a fully qualified Emotional Literacy Support Assistant and have been working with children in a primary school ages 5-11 for the last 8 years helping with all aspects of their emotional literacy. I have worked with both groups and individuals depending on their individual needs. I have experience in behaviour management, anger, anxiety, bullying, relationship building, self-esteem and more.
I was a Mental Health First Aider in my last practice and hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification, Level 3 Health and Social Care Qualification, Art Therapy Trained and I have almost completed my Child Psychology Degree. I also have a Level 5 TESOL certification.
I believe children should have fun whilst learning; as happy, confident children are more likely to succeed in what they set out to achieve.
Fun fact about me - I have just moved to Turkey to experience new culture and I cannot wait to share my passion and expertise with children from all over the world with Outschool.評論
