Whether you are a budding writer, a poetry lover, a reluctant writer or reader looking to expand your horizons, or anything in between - this club is perfect for you! Each week we will discuss one poem together and learn a little bit more about the poet, poem, or theme / time period of the work. Students will also have the opportunity to write and / or share their own poems in the Outschool classroom.

-acrostic poetry
-nature poetry
-poets from different regions
-And more!

We will discuss different forms of poetry, poetic structure, rhyme schemes, themes, the lives of poets, and more. While I will provide plenty of opportunities for learning and growth, this will be primarily a club intended to nurture a love for reading and writing poetry.
